At least 2 people were reported dead in an accident that occurred along the Nairobi – Nakuru Highway, 500 meters from Gitaru stage.
The accident involved a 14-seater Lina Sacco matatu and a personal car.

The accident affected traffic coming into Nairobi CBD but police arrived in time to divert the traffic.
13 injured victims were rushed to Kikuyu hospital for medical attention.
