10 Shortlisted for Ombudsman Commission Secretary/CEO Position

Ten candidates have been shortlisted for the position of Commission Secretary/Chief Executive Officer at the Commission on Administrative Justice (Office of the Ombudsman).

Commission Chairperson Charles Dulo said the Commission received a total of 40 applications by the close of the advertisement period.

Those shortlisted include Julius Cheche Kihara, Dr. Fredrick Okoth Otieno, Zeth Ouma Omollo, Muznah Chepkorir Sisiwa, Adan Abdirahman Mohamed, and Naisiae Paloshe Tobiko.

Others are Irene Akinyi Otieno, Anne Kerubo Mwasi, Teresa Carlo Omondi, and Dr. Andrew Gitau Kimani.

The interviews for the shortlisted candidates are scheduled to take place on June 16, 2026.

In a notice, the Commission directed candidates to present original academic and professional certificates, testimonials, and Chapter Six clearance documents, including tax compliance certificates, Credit Reference Bureau (CRB) reports, Higher Education Loans Board (HELB) clearance, Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) clearance, and a Certificate of Good Conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI).

“Kindly bring with you all the original academic and professional certificates, testimonials, and the Chapter Six clearance documents,” the notice stated.
