30-year-old man murdered, body dumped on roadside in Rongo

Police are investigating an incident where the body of a 30-year-old man was found on the roadside after his murder in Kanga area, Rongo, Migori County.
The man was identified as Charles Mogaka when the body was found on the Kisii-Rongo highway on Tuesday October 14 morning, police said.
The decease had head injuries and there was blood oozing from his mouth and ears.
Police said the man also had head injuries when the body was discovered.
There were indications the man was killed elsewhere and the body dumped at the scene, police said. There were no signs struggle at the scene to suggest he was killed at the scene.
The deceased worked as a blast operator at a mining site in the area.
The body was moved to the mortuary pending an autopsy, police said adding they are investigating murder.
Elsewhere in Rombo, Kajiado County, a 19-year-old man was stabbed and killed in an attack.
The motive of the killing of Anderson Lenkesia was not immediately established. His body was found on a footpath in a pool of blood after the fatal stabbing by unknown assailants.
Police said they were called to the scene after the incident had happened on Tuesday night.
The man was pronounced dead on arrival at a local hospital. The body was moved to the mortuary pending an autopsy.
In Muungano area, Athi River, Machakos County, police said they are investigating the murder of a woman whose body was found lying on the roadside after murder.
The woman did not have any documents when the body was found on Tuesday, police said.
The body was moved to the mortuary pending an identification exercise and autopsy. The motive of the murder is yet to be established.
