    7 Confirmed Dead As Unknown Assailants Attack Secondary School In Lokichogio (Photos)

    Seven people have been confirmed dead and several others injured as unknown assailants attacked Lokichogio AIC Secondary school. The Assailants shot at the victims and raped the female students. The assailants attacked the school at around 4AM  this morning

    Residents in the area suspect the Toposa from South Sudan to be behind the attacks in the school in Turkana county.

    Due to the bad state of the road network in the area attempts to rescue the students difficult.The residents took to twitter to seek for assistance from the red cross and other rescue organizations to provide a chopper to assist in evacuation of the 20 students with gun shot wounds.

    The residents called on the president to focus on securing the border to avoid such incidences.

    Reports have it that one of the students was among the attackers.
