Buoyed by the success of the Huduma centres, the Kenyan government is planning to launch a portal where citizens will be able to access various government services online.

The eCitizen portal which is almost complete and now accessible here will give citizens access to Ministry of Lands, Immigration, KRA and other government services. Some of the services which will be ready immediately after the launch are business name search and registration, various marriage related services from the AG’s office, driving license services like test booking and application for renewals together with others.

You can now register through the portal and apply for renewal of your license. All driving license data is now online through the portal. Check the portal out here http://www.ecitizen.go.ke/index.html

The portal has been built by some of the best Kenyan web developers who do their thing well than the iHub loungers can believe.
