    New Plan To Remove Matatus And Curb Traffic Congestion In Nairobi CBD

    Matatus will not be allowed in the CBD  as from Wednesday 22,In a  notice sent from the county gazette notice that will bar all matatus  from accessing the the CBD.

    Acting county secretary Leboo Ole Morintat said the move will see the Matatu s drop off passenger at designated bus terminus.

    Vehicles ferrying passengers from Thika Road will drop off passengers a the Ngara Terminus B

    Those ferrying passengers from Juja road,Ring Road and Park road will be dropped off at  Ngara terminus A,Mombasa Road and Langata Road to drop off at Hakati Terminus,Jogoo Road and Lusaka to be dropped off at Muthurwa.

    this move will an attempt to de congest the central business district  which is crowded.The notice negates the parking spaces that had been allocated to  the vehicles.
