    Presidential Candidate Micheal Wainaina Denies Petition Against Supreme Court

    Micheal  WainainaIndependent Presidetial candidate Michael Wainaina has denied that he gave instruction to his lawyer Harrison Kinyanjui to file a petition seeking nullification of the supreme court decision due to misconduct of two judges.

    In an email to his lawyer Harriosn Kinyanjui that was copied to presidential candidate Ekuru Aukot ,the supreme court and lawyers to other presidential candidates in the petition , Micheal Wanaina distanced himself from the application and also said that he had not signed the said application.

    He further told his lawyer  to expunge his name from the application and to desist from pushing its content and appending his name.

    The application had stated that Mr. Wainaina had petititioned against the Supreme court ruling saying that the majority decision of the judges cannot stand in light of the allegations of impropriety, possible corruption and violation of the judicial code of ethics by two judges.

    Micchael Wainaina however distanced himself saying tha he had not issued such instructions.
