Supreme Court Judge, Justice Isaac Lenaola has sued the Standard Media Group over the ‘Damning Petitions Link Lenaola and Mwilu to NASA Lawyers’ article published on Tuesday, 19, 2017.

The petition filed by Derrick Malika sought to have the judge removed from office. He alleged that the judge was in contact with NASA lawyers and was part of a cartel in the Judiciary.
In his defamation case against the said media house, Justice Lenaola has accused the media house published the words out of extreme malevolence and without caring into the falsity or truth of the petition.
He has also said that the Standard published the said petition before he (Lenaola) had been served thus it was not Public knowledge.
Mr Lenaola has said that the newspaper’s lack of verifying the truthfulness of the Derrick petition has injured his reputation.
