    Lawyer PLO Lumumba Resigns From The Kenya School Of Law

    LawyerLawyer PLO Lumumba has resigned from his post as the Director of the Kenya School Of Law.The eloquent lawyer known for his mastery of the queens language wrote to the board of the Kenya school of law saying that he will not renew his term.

    He said ‘I wrote to the board last week to that i will not be able to serve another term and they accepted.I want to demonstrate that as a public servant you can serve and leave room for others to also serve’

    PLO Lumumba who has been at the helm of the Kenya School Of Law since March 2014 said that he would not wish to renew his terms once his  period elapsed.

    According to his appointment letter the contract is valid for four years. Clause 6 of the said letter states that in the event that he wished to renew his terms he should give the board six months notice before the expiry of the contract to illustrate his desire to seek reappointment.

    He has given the board a go ahead to begin recruiting his successor.He has also asked the Finance department to commence processing his gratuity as per clause 14 of his terms of engagement.

    He recently appeared for the IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati at the Supreme court following a petition that  was filed by NASA.His mastery of the English language gave him fame on social media but the supreme court nullified the presidential elections.
