    Former Youth Fund CEO, Catherine Namuye Found Dead At Nairobi Home

    Former Youth Fund CEO, Catherine Namuye is dead.

    Ms Namuye’s lifeless body was found by her maid at her Kileleshwa home on Wednesday evening.

    The deceased’s neighbours said that they heard screams coming form her house. On getting there, she was lying on the floor with foam coming out of her mouth.

    According to Nairobi Police Commander, Japheth Koome, Ms Namuye collapsed and the medics did not find physical injuries on her body.

    The mother of one was allegedly dismissed by the board on Friday, 29 September pending investigations into the loss of Sh 180 million.

    She and her colleague, Bruce Odhiambo were in 2016 charged with 12 counts of corruption. They were accused of receiving Sh4.5 million and Sh1.8 million in bribes from Quorandum.

    Police have launched investigations into her sudden death.
