Embakasi East MP Babu Owino who this afternoon (Thursday 26th) was arrested on Ngong road has been charged for not wearing a helmet.

Babu alongside other NASA politicians T.J Kajwang and Steve Mbogo were arrested while on their way to the Jamhuri grounds in Kibra after police blocked them from accessing Kamkunji grounds for a rally.

According to the charge sheet, Babu was charged with being a pillion passenger which basically implies in layman terms as being a passenger on a motorbike or bicycle without wearing a helmet.
