Boda boda operators on Friday set on fire a hostel at Embu University after the students lynched one of the operators.
They are said to have gained entry into the learning institution where they roughed up students.
This however is not the first time the students at the Institution and boda boda riders are beefing.
In September however, a boda boda rider is said to have taken advantage of a first year student from the Rift Valley. He pretended to ferry her to the school but instead stopped in a bush near Don Bosco High School.

He raped her and took off. She was rushed to the Embu Teaching and Referral Hospital by a passer by who found her on the road side.
Kenyatta University students also went on rampage a week ago after a female student was allegedly killed and dumped by boda boda operators.
The institution’s management has denied the claims.
