    Elgeyo Marakwet Leaders Against Upgrade Of Sing’ore Girls To A National School

    A sections of leaders from Elgeyo Marakwet are against the suggestion to have Sing’ore  Girls upgraded to a National School.

    The leaders have said that the upgrade will deny the local students an opportunity to be enrolled in the best performing school.

    They say that the status of the school does not matter what matters is the the quality of the education that is provided.

    The county director for education, Joseph Wamocho had suggested that Sing’ore girls be upgraded to a national school as it beat the traditional giants. He said that the school deserves the upgrade as it has been improving tremendously over the years.

    The school scored a mean grade of 69.9 beating all academics giants to emerge first in the country.
