The January 30 inauguration of Raila Odinga and his deputy, Kalonzo Musyoka is not a joke, National Resistance Movement (NRM) commander Miguna Miguna has said.
While speaking on NTV, Miguna said that Odinga will be sworn in whether he likes it or not as the people’s President as planned.
The plans are underway and will not be derailed by the likes of Attorney General, Githu Muigai with arrest threats.
”We will swear in Raila Odinga on January 30. Raila has no option. He will be sworn in whether he likes it or not.”
The international lawyer further revealed that the former Prime Minister had rightfully won the August 8 election.
The opposition leader, he says beat President Uhuru Kenyatta by over a million votes. Raila garnered 8,634, 761 votes against Uhuru’s 7,675,162, Miguna said.
”He is going to be the People’s President because I have the server results from the August 8 election,” he said.
”We would not have 18 people killed during a walk from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) when Raila returned from the US if the swearing in was not to be taken seriously,” Miguna added.

On Saturday, the resistance movement leader advised opposition supporters to stone the peoples assembly steering committee that has been postponing the swearing in every now and then.
Next time Oduor Ong'wen, @DavidNdii and Noah Akala addresses a press conference promising to announce another committee or swearing in date for @RailaOdinga, #NRM soldiers have explicit authority from me to stone them. Kenyans are tired of bullshit. We must act right now! #Resist

He further noted that should Odinga not take the oath, NRM or ‘a variant of it would march on without the NASA coalition.’
”Announcing the date and venue of the exercise was a grave error. Kenyans aren’t going to wait for you anymore. Let’s move!” he said.
