The secretary to the chief justice has denied the letter that is being circulated that the judiciary warned Raila Odinga about the swearing in was fake

The secretary said that the letter head that was used in the letter did not belong to the Judiciary. The secretary also said that they are waiting for communication from the Chief Justice who is currently in Mombasa.

The letter states that Uhuru Kenyatta is the validly elected president and therefore the swearing in was illegal. It said that any attempt to swear in another president would be illegal as it would purport to be unseating a legitimate president.

The letter also gave warning to the judges and magistrates intending to attend the swearing in ceremony.

The attorney general has also gone on record saying that the swearing in of Raila Odinga would be likened to treason. This claims have been refuted by lawyers from the NASA divide saying that whatever they are doing is within the constraints of the law.
