Disgraced National Resistance Movement “General” Miguna Miguna was forced to produce his Canadian passport in Dubai when authorities in the Arab country threatened to jail him for flying without his travel documents.
According to senior government officials in the know, Miguna summoned an accomplice who flew the travel document from Kenya and delivered it to him at the Dubai airport.
Kenyan authorities have insisted that Miguna Miguna can only enter Kenya with a valid Visa or passport and no ID like he demanded.
Explaining his departure from Dubai, Miguna who has arrived in Toronto Canada didn’t give an explanation of if he did or did not travel to Canada on his adopted country’s passport. He dismissed such questions as “unnecessary” as he continues to call President Uhuru and DP Ruto as despotic.
Miguna left Dubai around midnight on Sunday aboard Air Canada flight number AC 57.
Kenyan, Canadian and Dubai authorities tried assist Miguna regularise his arrival in Kenya but the arrogance, pride and lack of cooperation by Miguna made it hard to assist him.
Miguna Miguna has his family living in Canada and has made no effort to bring them back to the country.
While it was wrong for the government to treat him the way it did, you need to know that Miguna Miguna is a polarising character.
