    Woman found dead in her house in Huruma

    Detectives are investigating the death of a woman whose body was found in her house in the Huruma area, Nairobi.

    The body of Eunice Mumbi was found in the house long after she had died on April 28. Witnesses and police said the body was found lying on bed with foam coming from the mouth.

    The cause of the death is yet to be known. Police said a relative who found the body took it to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

    The body was moved to the mortuary pending autopsy and other investigations.

    In Getare area, Nyamira County, a 15-year-old girl was electrocuted in a tragedy at a homestead. Police said the body of the girl was found in a corridor after she had touched a live naked wire.

    The body was moved to the mortuary after Kenya Power officials had disconnected the power supply to the area.

    Elsewhere in Matungulu, Machakos County, the body of a man who had been missing was found floating in River Katine.

    The police reported that the man was missing on April 26 in the area. The body of Philip Kiangi Mutuku, 47 was spotted floating on water and held by wooden objects and fig trees in the river before it was retrieved and moved to the mortuary pending autopsy and other investigations.

    In Ruiru, Kiambu County, a man was stoned to death on claims he had snatched a mobile phone from a pedestrian.

    Police rescued the man from the mob and rushed him to Kenyatta University and Referral Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

    The body was moved to General Kago Funeral Home in Thika, awaiting autopsy and identification.

    In Luanda Lang’o village, Siaya County, the body of Paul Odhiambo Ogola, was found in a sitting position on a chair in a guardroom at the gate of the office of the Member of County Assembly, Central Alego Ward.

    He worked as a guard at the facility.

    Police said the body, which had no visible physical injuries, was moved to Siaya County Referral Morgue awaiting autopsy.
