Clémence Poésy is a French actress and fashion model renowned for her captivating performances in both French and international cinema.

She adopted her mother’s maiden name, Poésy, as her stage name, a nod to her family’s artistic roots.

Raised in a culturally rich environment, Poésy was exposed to the arts early on, with her father, Étienne Guichard, working as an actor and writer, and her mother, Danièle Poésy, serving as a French teacher.

Poésy’s passion for acting sparked in childhood, leading her to pursue drama at prestigious institutions like the Conservatoire National Supérieur d’Art Dramatique, the Atelier International de Blanche Salant et Paul Weaver, and Paris Nanterre University.

Beyond acting, Poésy has made a mark in fashion, serving as a spokesmodel for brands like Chloé and G-Star Raw, and gracing the covers of magazines such as i-D, Jalouse, and Nylon.
