    Nell Tiger Free, born Nell Pickford Free on October 13, 1999, in Kingston upon Thames, London, is an English actress and singer.

    Known for her captivating performances, she first gained widespread recognition for her role as Myrcella Baratheon in the fifth and sixth seasons of HBO’s Game of Thrones, taking over the role from Aimee QQRichardson.
    Her career spans television and film, showcasing her versatility in projects ranging from psychological horror to science fiction.
    Beyond acting, Free is a musician, sharing original songs and covers on social media and performing with the band Your Parents.
    Raised in a creative and supportive family, with a father in recruitment and a mother who is a yoga teacher, Free’s journey into acting began at a Saturday drama class where she was scouted at age 11.

    Nell has one older sister, Betsy Free, who is her only sibling.
    Betsy, sometimes referred to as Bet Free in sources, pursued higher education and graduated with a PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) from Cardiff University in July 2018, a milestone celebrated by their mother, Amanda Free, on social media.
    While Nell has carved a public path in entertainment, Betsy has maintained a lower profile.

    Career

    Free’s career began at age 13 with her debut in the 2012 BBC television movie Mr. Stink, where she played Chloe Crumb, followed by a role as Anna in the drama film Broken that same year.
    These early roles showcased her ability to portray complex characters, earning her attention from directors.
    Her breakthrough came in 2015 when she joined Game of Thrones as Myrcella Baratheon, appearing in six episodes across seasons five and six.
    The role, though brief, placed her in the global spotlight.
    She further expanded her portfolio with the 2019 Amazon Prime series Too Old to Die Young, playing Janey Carter, and secured a starring role as Leanne Grayson in M.
    Night Shyamalan’s Apple TV+ series Servant (2019–2023), which earned critical acclaim, including praise from Stephen King.
    In film, Free took on the older version of Remmy in the 2021 sci-fi drama Settlers, premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival, and starred as Margaret in the 2024 horror film The First Omen, her first lead role in a feature film.
    Her musical endeavors include releasing her debut solo single, “Do I Just Keep Making Things Worse?” in October 2024, with an upcoming EP, Nell Has a Breakdown, set for future release.
