Detectives are investigating the murder of three student in Maitunya village, Sengera, Nyamira County.
The body of the victim was found lying on the roadside on Saturday August 16 near a tea buying centre long after the boy had been killed by unknown people.
He was identified as a student at the Ikonge Secondary School in the area. The motive of the murder is yet to be known, police said as they moved the body to the mortuary.
It is believed the boy was killed at the scene.
In Olokurto area, Narok County, a man was found murdered and his body abandoned on an open farm.
Police said the deceased had a stab wound in the left side of the head and was later identified as George Gioche, 39. The body was moved to the mortuary pending autopsy and investigations.
No arrest has been made in connection with the Friday evening incident.
In Mbitini, Kitui County, a 42-year-old man died after being assaulted in a fight in the area.
He was rushed to the hospital where he succumbed to the injuries, police said.
Police said the suspected assailant was arrested for grilling and possible arraignment.
The motive of the incident is yet to be known, police said.

The police discourage mob lynching and want suspects be surrendered to authorities for processing.
