Carmen has two brothers; her older half-brother, José Conrado, maintains a low profile and is not involved in the public eye.

In contrast, her younger brother, Robert Villalobos, shares a particularly strong bond with her, often collaborating professionally as her trusted photographer for magazine covers, social media posts, and personal projects.

Robert, the youngest of the three siblings, has been described by Carmen as a perfect creative partner who understands her preferences intuitively, and their relationship dates back to childhood, marked by mutual support through life’s ups and downs.

Villalobos joined the Telemundo series El Señor de los Cielos in 2013 as Leonor Ballesteros, evolving from a recurring role in the first season to a main character across 232 episodes through seasons 2 and 3.

She reprised her iconic Catalina Santana in the sequel Sin senos sí hay paraíso from 2016 to 2018 for 177 episodes, with additional appearances in flashbacks and cameos, and extended the character into El final del paraíso in 2019 for 82 episodes as both Catalina Santana and Virginia Fernández.
