    Lucy Clare Davis is an English actress born on February 17, 1973, in Birmingham, England.

    She is widely recognized for her memorable performances in British television and film, particularly for bringing warmth, humor, and relatability to her characters.

    As the daughter of renowned comedian Jasper Carrott and Hazel Jackson, she grew up in a household steeped in comedy and entertainment, which influenced her path into acting.

    Following this breakthrough, she appeared in the cult classic horror-comedy Shaun of the Dead (2004) as Dianne, further showcasing her comedic timing.

    Notable appearances include Wonder Woman (2017) as Etta Candy, where she brought charm and strength to the role alongside Gal Gadot, and as Hilda Spellman in the Netflix series The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina (2018–2020).

    Beyond acting, Davis has been open about her personal health journey, including a kidney transplant in 1997 donated by her mother, and has served as an ambassador for Kidney Research UK, using her platform for awareness.

    In 2004, Davis won the Loaded Lafta Award for Funniest Woman, honoring her comedic contributions during a peak period in her career.
