Kenyan TikTok personality Patrick Mbacio, popularly known as “The Patrick The Truth,” has died at his home, with news of his death emerging on Saturday evening, September 26, 2026.
He died in his house in Nakuru, police said.
Mbacio’s body was taken to Egerton University Mortuary, as family members, friends and followers came to terms with his sudden death.
The circumstances surrounding his death had not been publicly established by Sunday morning.
Mbacio rose to prominence on TikTok through content centred on his distinctive lifestyle and interactions with women, earning him a sizeable following and making him a familiar figure on Kenya’s social media scene.
His claims about having hosted more than 1,000 women became a recurring subject of online discussion.
At one point, Mbacio claimed he had a list of 1,200 women he had allegedly been with and threatened to make the names public.
He is remembered for a lifestyle that reportedly saw him spend more than Sh6 million entertaining women over a period of less than five years.
He is also said to have spent around Sh10,000 monthly on the women he entertained.
According to the claims, Patrick was involved with more than 3,000 women during that period. After his money reportedly ran out, he turned to motivational speaking and adopted the name “Patrick the Truth,” sharing lessons and reflections from his life experiences.
In recent months, however, attention increasingly shifted to his health following a noticeable change in his appearance.
In August, Mbacio addressed rumours about his health, saying he was living with diabetes and high blood pressure.
Earlier in September, he also appealed to women he had previously hosted to assist him in obtaining medication and other necessities, drawing further attention from his online followers.
News of his death has since triggered an outpouring of reactions across social media, with fans and followers mourning a personality whose controversial lifestyle and outspoken online presence had made him a notable figure in Kenya’s TikTok community.
The family had not, by Sunday morning, publicly disclosed the cause of death.
