Harambee Stars striker John Mark Makwatta has sealed a one-year deal move to Kuwaiti Premier League side Al Nasr Sporting Club from Buildcon FC of Zambia.

To secure the services of the 23-year-old, Al Nasr parted with Ksh1,000,000 to buy out his remaining contract which had three months left.

The deal will see the former Ulinzi Stars forward pocket Ksh. 1m per month for the next twelve months.

“It feels great, this is the right platform I have been dreaming to ply my trade,” Makwatta told Kahawa Tungu.

The former City Stars striker joined Buildcon in March 2017 in a two-year-deal and had a fair stint with the Ndola-based moneybags.

“I enjoyed my time at Buildcon and I thank them for everything. I leave happy and I wish them luck in everything, they will always be in my heart,” he added.
