    Sharon Otieno’s Aunt Dies From Trauma

    Slain Rongo University student, Sharon Otieno’s aunt has died.

    Debora Ogweno died on Friday morning after learning about what the media and politicians were saying about her niece.

    The deceased, the family spokesman Joshua Okong’o said, fainted and died on the spot.

    “I was informed early to today that Debora (sister) had died and this resulted from trauma over information about Sharon’s death. Her body was taken to Rapcom mortuary in Awendo town,” said Okong’o.

    He also warned politicians against dragging Sharon’s name through the mad to achieve hidden political agendas.

    Speaking at the late Sharon’s home, Okong’o divulged that she was indeed married to a secondary school teacher Bernard Okuta with whom they have three kids.

    But the deceased had moved back home, her mother Melida Auma told reporters on Tuesday.

    Sharon’s remains were discovered on Tuesday with deep cuts in the back, neck and hands. She was 7 months pregnant when she met her death.

    Her mother has said that she was involved with Migori Governor Okoth Obado who has remained mum on the matter, raising suspicion in his involvement.

    The postmortem is on-going at  Rachuonyo Level Four Hospital in Homa Bay County.

    Her close relatives, detectives and Chief Pathologist Johansen Oduor were at the mortuary for the examination, which began at 2pm.
