A postmortem report of Sharon Otieno’s death, carried out by government pathologist Johansen Oduor has revealed that she was brutally stabbed 8 times, strangled and was possibly raped by her assailants.
“Sharon was stabbed three times on the neck, four times on the back and on the left side of the abdomen,” said Dr. Oduor.
Dr. Johansen Oduor noted that Sharon Otieno had several other bruises indicating there was a struggle before she was killed.
Her unborn baby also had bruises and stab wounds, leading to it’s death.
Detectives had indicated that used condoms were found at the scene of the crime, meaning that the Sharon was possibly raped before being killed.
More samples have been drawn from the body and that of the baby for further analysis.
