Police and EACC sleuths have been camping at former Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero since 2 am, Thursday.

They have allegedly been at his Nairobi home and are in search of documents in a graft case Kidero is involved in.

According to the Nation the detectives are on the hunt for money.

Speaking to Citizen TV on Wednesday, Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko accused Kidero of stealing funds meant for Pumwani Maternity Hospital upgrade.

Sonko said that Kidero used the account of murdered lawyer Wachira Mburu to wire Ksh58 million from the county coffers and later rewired to his own account.
