Pornographic material including sex toys and toy pistols valued at Sh1 Million were among goods seized and destroyed in Eldoret on Tuesday, 13 June.
The contraband goods were seized by the Kenya Revenue Authority officers.
The goods were nabbed at the Eldoret Airport in 2016. They are said to have been stored in the customs warehouse.
According to the deputy commissioner, Florence Otory, ”There was a huge number of pornographic material seized, including artificial male and female sex organs. One of our duties is to protect the society from moral decay.”
The goods were reduced to ashes at the Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital grounds.
