Migori Woman Representative, Pamela Odhiambo was airlifted to Nairobi on Sunday evening after being involved in a morning accident.
The accident occurred at Winyo on Rongo-Homa Bay road at about 8 AM on Sunday, leaving one of her bodyguards, Fred Owich, dead.
Ms Odhiambo and three others were rushed to Migori Referral Hospital before being transferred to Aga Khan Hospital.
The woman representative is said to have sustained a fracture of the vertebral bone, while the other patients sustained soft tissue injuries and a dislocated shoulder.
“She is going to Nairobi hospital where she will be treated and will also have to get a special care from a spinal Surgeon,” Aga Khan Kisumu medical director Sam Oula said.
The body of her deceased bodyguard was moved to Rosewood Hospital mortuary in Rongo.
