Visiting Asante Kotoko have bemoaned a “small” bus they were provided with at the airport when they landed in the Nairobi Wednesday.

The Kumasi-based record Ghanaian champions were also displeased with the training facility they were offered at Goan Institute in Pangani.

The Porcupine Warriors are in the country for Saturday’s Confederation Cup first round first leg clash against Kariobangi Sharks at the Kasarani Stadium.

“We are concentrating on why we came to Kenya and there’s no panic here just that the bus they gave us is not good; a very small bus which we have requested for a new one through the liaison officer they gave us but they say that’s all they can afford but I told him for better sporting relations, they should but they declined.

We are not perturbed but they should know we will also host them in Ghana and will give them same treatment, the same kind of bus,” George Amoako, the club’s CEO told Oyerepa FC from Kenya.

Pictures from the team’s first training in the evening, however, does not show a poor pitch at the Goan Institute.

Sharks, who are playing at the continental for the first time, travel to Kumasi for the return leg next week with the aggregate winner sailing through to the playoffs round.
