Njeri Wa Muthoni, the woman who recorded police officers harassing a lady from a matatu was arrested and taken to Kasarani Police station.
The lady posted on Facebook that she had been arrested and taken to Kasarani police station. She was asking for help following her arrest.
Njeri recorded a video showing three police officers, two ladies and one man harassing a lady in a matatu as they tried to arrest the vehicle.
The lady seated at the front refused to alight from the where the police officer intended to sit. In the video they push and shove the lady without telling her her mistake.

The other passengers including Njeri opposed the action of the police officers. It is unclear whether Njeri has been released as she was last online seven hours ago.
Reasons for her arrest are still scanty.
