AFC Leopards were at some point in the current Kenyan Premier League campaign flirting with relegation, but not anymore.
The team now looks solid under Rwandan coach Andre Cassa Mbungo, who has mastered the art of beating Ingwe’s bogey teams like Chemelil Sugar and Ulinzi Stars.
Thursday’s 3-1 win over Posta Rangers was Andre’s fourth in seven outings.
Leopards are now safely out of danger at position 10 in the KPL table standings after 23 matches.
Apart from Andre’s touch of class, Ingwe’s rise can also be attributed to the recent signings like David “Cheche” Ochieng’ and Paul Were who have had immediate impact.
