    Tragic Accident Occurs Near Kamukuywa Bridge Blackspot

    15 people lost their lives on Friday night in an accident involving a 14 seater matatu and a sugar cane tractor at Maliki market near Kamukuywa bridge.

    Eyewitness reports that the matatu which was coming from Kamukuywa collided head on with a West Sugar Company tractor as it tried to overtake another vehicle.

    All the passengers in the 14 seater matatu died on the spot and the sugar cane tractor caught fire.

    This accident occurred about 600 meters away from Kamukuywa Bridge blackspot where another accident occurred last week and 14 lives were lost.

    Authorities have been advise to erect bumps that will help to control drivers discipline on the road.
