Maud has been involved in her brother’s professional life, handling publicity and image rights matters, and notably survived the 2015 Bataclan theatre attack in Paris while her brother was playing in a friendly match nearby.

Théo pursued a football career of his own, playing as a professional with clubs including Sporting Mâcon.

Career

Griezmann began his professional journey with Real Sociedad in Spain after being released by several French clubs due to his slight build.

He made his debut in 2009 and became a standout performer, helping the club win promotion to La Liga and establishing himself as a prolific scorer.

In 2014, he transferred to Atlético Madrid for a club-record fee, where he flourished under manager Diego Simeone, forming a formidable partnership with players like Diego Costa and later others.

After a successful spell at Atlético that included major trophies, he joined Barcelona in 2019 before returning to Atlético Madrid on loan and then permanently.

Known for his adaptability, Griezmann has excelled in various attacking roles.

On the international stage, he rose through France’s youth ranks, winning the UEFA European Under-19 Championship in 2010.

He made his senior debut in 2014 and played pivotal roles in major tournaments, notably starring in the 2018 FIFA World Cup triumph.
