Apple Martin, born on May 14, 2004, in London, England, is an emerging media personality, actress, and singer-songwriter.

As the daughter of Coldplay frontman Chris Martin and Academy Award-winning actress Gwyneth Paltrow, Apple has grown up in the public eye, drawing attention from birth due to her unique name.

Despite her high-profile lineage, Apple has carved her own path, blending creativity and privacy while navigating fame.

Siblings

Apple has one sibling, her younger brother, Moses Bruce Paltrow Martin, born on April 8, 2006, in New York City.

Named after the biblical figure and sharing the same middle name as his late grandfather, Bruce Paltrow, Moses is also musically inclined.

Like Apple, he has contributed to Coldplay’s work, earning a vocal credit on the song “Humankind” from the band’s 2021 album, Music of the Spheres.

Moses maintains a low profile though he’s described by his mother as sensitive, brilliant, and musically gifted, with interests in 1980s synthesizers and French New Wave cinema.

Career

Apple made her television debut at age two on VH1’s All Access episode “20 Cutest Celebrity Babies” in 2006 and later appeared in the 2020 Netflix documentary The Goop Lab, produced by her mother’s wellness brand.

Her fashion debut came in January 2023 at Chanel’s Haute Couture Spring/Summer show during Paris Fashion Week, where she sat front row, fulfilling a prediction by the late Karl Lagerfeld, who called her a future “Chanel girl” when she was just four.

In music, Apple co-wrote Coldplay’s 2024 single “feelslikeimfallinginlove” from the album Moon Music and has performed with her father, notably singing Ariana Grande’s “Just a Little Bit of Your Heart” at a 2016 fundraiser.

A student at Vanderbilt University, she balances academics with her creative pursuits, showing a passion for 1990s fashion, music, and modeling.
