    Arina Rodionova is a professional tennis player born on December 15, 1989, in Russia. Initially representing Russia, she switched to play for Australia in 2014.

    Throughout her career, she has achieved notable success, reaching her highest singles ranking of No. 97 and a doubles ranking peak of No. 41.

    Rodionova’s journey in tennis began in 2004, and she has experienced various highs and lows along the way.

    One of her significant achievements was winning the Australian Open girls’ doubles title in 2007 with Evgeniya Rodina.

    Born on May 12, 1982, Anastasia has had a successful career, winning 11 doubles titles on the WTA Tour and achieving a peak singles ranking of No. 62.

    The sisters have occasionally teamed up in doubles tournaments, with notable performances at the 2010 Malaysian Open and the 2015 Monterrey Open, where they reached the finals but fell short in both instances.

    The Rodionova sisters made history by representing Australia together at the 2016 Rio Olympics in women’s doubles.

    They faced tough competition but were eliminated in the first round by the Russian pair of Ekaterina Makarova and Elena Vesnina.

    Career

    Rodionova began her professional tennis career in 2004 at an ITF Women’s Circuit event in Protvino, Russia.

    She quickly made her mark by winning her first title in Minsk in 2005 and another in Moscow the following year.

    Although they defeated top-seeded pairs during the tournament, they ultimately lost in a closely contested final.

    The following years saw her continue to compete at various levels, including qualifying for the main draw of Grand Slam events like the Australian Open.

    Rodionova’s career has been marked by both successes and challenges. She recorded her highest singles ranking of No. 97 and a peak doubles ranking of No. 41 in July 2015.
