FIFA has suspended Sierra Football Association (SLFA) from international football community “until further notice.” The decision was taken by the Bureau of the FIFA Council Friday and communicated to all members of the world football body. Sierra Leone national teams and clubs will therefore not part in any international competitions until the ban is lifted. Kenya Rugby Union has appointed Paul Murunga as the new Kenya Sevens team (Shujaa)  manager for the 2018-19 season. Murunga of Homeboyz RFU takes over the hot seat from Innocent Simiyu who handled the team for the past two seasons. The deal is for one year renewable. Ayub Timbe Masika has been ruled out of action for two weeks with knee and shoulder injuries. The Harambee Stars exciting winger who plies his trade with Chinese top league side Beijing Renhe broke the news Friday. “Out for two weeks with knee and shoulder injuries but I will be fully recovered for the next game,” the 25-year-old posted on his Facebook Timeline. Football Kenya Federation boss Nick Mwendwa has appealed for more government support ahead of Harambee Stars 2019 Afcon qualifiers double header against Ethiopia next week. The federation is also preparing the Emerging Stars for U-23 Afcon qualifiers. Gor Mahia Organizing Secretary Judith “Nyangi” Anyango has said that “I’m not shaken” by threats to sue for defamation by the club’s chairman Ambrose Rachier. Kenyan Premier League 2018 champions Gor Mahia thumped Zoo FC 4-1 in Machakos to end the season on a high Thursday. Nyali Member of Parliament Mohammed Ali wants some devolved functions returned to the national government since some county governments use them to build football stadiums. Football Kenya Federation (FKF) is racing against time to secure air tickets for Harambee Stars players to Ethiopia for Wednesday’s Afcon 2019 qualifier against the hosts. With less than a week to the crucial Group F match, broke FKF have been knocking on the government’s door for assistant with little success.
