Kenyan Premier League and a nonprofit organization have partnered to launch Inmates 7-a-side Premier League in Kamiti and Naivasha Maximum Prisons. Thirteen teams from Kamiti and twelve from Naivasha will grace the inaugural edition that was officially inaugurated Wednesday. Thirty four girls from Nasokol Secondary School in West Pokot were sent parking Tuesday for poor academic performance. The girls, most of whom are footballers on scholarships were sent home together with their parents by a new principal, who is academic focused.
