The Attorney General(AG) Paul Kihara has overruled the directive by Education CS ambassador Amina Mohamed to lower entry point to teaching colleges to D+. Former journalist Moses Dola who was found guilty of killing his wife and former NTV journalist Sarah Wambui Kabiru in 2011 has been sentenced to 10 years in prison. Police have refuted claims by the Kenya National Commission on Human Rights (KNCHR) that people were sexually assaulted by them during the 2017 general elections . They said that no complaint had been forwarded to any investigative body of anyone that was sexually assaulted by police during the general elections.
