A city lawyer Peter Kiprotich Bore has sued Kenya airways after he was forced out of a flight on claims that his name was not on the flight manifest. Hussein Idd, a Tanzanian drug trafficker has been sentenced to 30 years in prison and fined Kshs.90 million in a Mombasa court. Samburu governor Moses Kasaine Lenolkulal has asked the court to unfreeze his accounts stating that his family has been suffering as a result of the freezing. Banks in Uganda will no longer accept the old notes from Kenya with immediate effect.
