The structure whose mud wall are falling apart and is covered in polythen bags and sacks to cover the destroyed areas. The National Police service has said that they will continue with the firearm digitization and that the digitisation will extend to police reservists. The Inspector general Hillary Mutyambai through a press conference said that any person found to be in possession of an unlicensed forearm including the National Police reservists would be deemed as a combatant. A man was found tortured and left for dead at the Globe roundabout. His friend however was unlucky and died on the spot. Police on patrol were alerted to the presence of the two lifeless bodies which appeared to have been dumped there in the wee hours of Sunday morning, as the officers who had canvassed the area during an earlier shift hadn’t reported any anomalies. Kenya Revenue Authourity officers have seized 2Kg of Bhang disguised as herbal soap at the Jomo Kenyatta international Airport (JKIA). The Bhang is said to have been destined to London packaged in 20 boxes of 100 mg each. No one was arrested in connection to the bhang but police are investigating whether similar consignments had been transported in the same manner. Police have in the recent past nabbed bhang being transported across the country. An  Administration Police officer attached to Umoja chief’s office has committed suicide in his house. The officer is believed to have shot himself after an argument with his wife. There has been delays in breaking ground for the much anticipated dualing of the Nairobi-Mombasa Highway by US firm Bechtel, casing speculations. The 485-kilometre project was estimated to cost Ksh300 billion and would be funded by US government. It would have four lanes in a bid to do away with the notorious traffic jams along the current road. The High court has declined to repeal section 162 of the penal code.Judges Chacha Mwita, Roselyne Aburili and John Mativo made a unanimous decision to decline. “None of the petitioners tendered evidence to prove denial of the rights to health on the basis of their orientation. Only general statements which do not meet the burden of proof. “On right to non-discrimination, the Constitution only prohibits unfair discrimination. Police in Uganda have arrested a British citizen and two Ugandans believed to have given 50,000 Ugandans bleach in the name of a ‘miracle cure’ used to treat cancer, HIV and Aids, Malaria and many other diseases. The three, Samuel Little, 25, Samuel Albert, 27 and herbalist Samula Tadeop were arrested in Kasese district where they found chemicals used for the purification of water. The Deputy President Dr William Ruto has said that he will vie for the top seat in 2022 and that only the courts will stop him from vying. The National Assembly Investment Committee has called on the President’s niece Nana Gecaga for using Sh1.5 billion to build a temporary structure. The committee’s chairperson Abdullswamad Shariff was concerned that such a huge amount of money would be spent to build a temporary structure. Renown Kenyan author and gay rights activist Binyavanga Wainana  has passed on The author died on Tuesday May 21 at 10PM  after a stroke.His family confirmed that the author had passed on.
