Four suspects have been arrested for reportedly putting passengers aboard a Nairobi-bound bus to sleep in order to steal from them. Stephen Odero, Benson Odero, Joshua Orengo, and Harrison Nyamu are claimed to have boarded the bus in Kisumu on Sunday with the intent to commit the crime. The bus driver, Emmanuel Barasa, witnessed an odd situation on the bus in which everyone was fast asleep save for two passengers who swapped positions. Police in Mombasa have apprehended five members of the ‘Panga Boys,’ an organized criminal group. The five were apprehended in the Mjambere ward of Kisauni Sub County, the National Police Service said on Sunday. The United Democratic Alliance (UDA) Party has dismissed 105 of the 166 complaints it received after the party primaries due to lack of merit. The primaries were held on April 14 in 38 counties. Nakuru police have in custody four suspected members of a gang terrorising residents. The suspects were nabbed on Friday at a rented house in Pangani Estate. Results for the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) 2021 examination are out. The results were released on Saturday by Education CS George Magoha after presenting them to President Uhuru Kenyatta at State House. 826,807 students sat for the exams at 10,413 centres across the country. Students are advised to send their index number followed by KCSE (in capital letters) to the number 20076. There should be no spacing after the index numbers last digit and the initials KCSE. President Uhuru Kenyatta has appointed 24 new ambassadors and High Commissioners as Heads of Missions of Kenya abroad. The head of state has also appointed seven ambassadors who will serve as Deputy Heads of Missions and four officials to the post of Consul-General.
