Bien-Aime Baraza of boy band, Sauti Sol, has blasted the German embassy in Kenya for allegedly mistreating the band during a recent visit. Bien recounted the incident while apologizing for the band’s tardiness in arriving at the Baraza Media Lab for the launch of the Shahara platform. ODM party leader Raila Odinga is due to appear before the National Cohesion and Integration Commission (NCIC) in connection with his madoadoa statements. Several passengers were on Friday morning injured, while two others were trapped in a Rembo Shuttle sacco vehicle following a road accident along the busy Mombasa Road. Two Kenyan humanitarian workers are being held in the northwestern part of South Sudan after a fistfight on a flight last weekend. Nicholas Wamwangi, 30, and Kelvin Kimani, 29, were still being held in custody on Thursday, police in Aweil have confirmed. A family of a Kenyan student in Canada has been hit with a Sh50 million medical bill. Tevin Obiga, a fourth-year computer engineering student at the University of Manitoba, passed away last week at Winnipeg’s St Boniface Hospital. Under new regulations being fine-tuned by the Office of the Attorney General, all scrap metal traders will be required to obtain new licensing from the Scrap Metal Council. Digital lenders have up to six months to obtain new licenses from the Central Bank of Kenya (CBK) before they are permitted to operate in Kenya in accordance with the new legislation.
