The body of another Mombasa-based suspected drug dealer has been discovered in Thika, Kiambu County. Fahmi Bakari Shekuwe went missing on December 3, 2021 alongside two others including Masuo Bakari Tajiri, whose remains were discovered more than two weeks ago in a thicket in Thika. The former Jubilee party campaign financier Mary Wambui is in more trouble after the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) moved to court seeking to have 13 bank accounts frozen. The businesswoman and her daughter, Purity Njoki are said to have evaded tax amounting to Sh2.5 billion between 2014-2019. Two suspected robbers are nursing injuries after snatching a phone from a detective at the Allsops interchange along Thika Road. Following a shareholder feud with his French and South African partners, former Lancet Kenya CEO Ahmed Kalebi is seeking Sh3.6 billion as payout from the laboratory services firm. The High Court on Wednesday suspended the hearing of a Sh102 million money laundering case after two women showed up in court claiming to be 21-year-old college student Felister Nyamathira Njoroge.
