Sharon Otieno’s mother, Melida Auma Otieno, has called for Migori Governor, Okoth Obado to be investigated over the death of her daughter. Police on Wednesday raided CGTN Africa headquarters, formerly CCTV arresting Chinese nationals who are believed to be in the country illegally. Sources say that heavily armed men showed up at the offices apprehending those who did not appear to be Kenyan. The officers did not ask for any documentation and left with five people. Migori Governor Okoth Obado has denied involvement in the death of varsity student, Sharon Otieno. The second suspect in the shooting of former Garissa Finance Executive, Idriss Mukhtar says he was tortured by the police. Students at Senior Chief Koinange Girls High School have been forced to go home after they woke up to a dormitory fire at 5 AM on Tuesday morning. The fire left 150 students without accommodation. Fire fighters from Kiambu County were called to contain the incident. Three brothers are in police custody for allegedly stoning their younger sister’s lover to death, in Bungoma. The trio from Muyekhe village, Kabuchai constituency is said to have coerced their sister into setting a trap for her deceased boyfriend.
