Francis Mburu, the “rich man” who allegedly owns the contentious Ruaraka Land where Ruaraka High School and Drive Inn Primary School sit has been arrested by DCI officers. He was arrested at Kileleshwa house Wednesday morning for the second time and is being held at the Nairobi Area Police Station. The National Social Security Fund (NSSF) should issue Tassia property land owners with title deeds immediately, Embakasi East MP Babu Owino and Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko have instructed. This was after a meeting with the county boss and a section of his cabinet over the land dispute involving Tassia property and landowners and NSSF. The agency has reportedly demanded for the land owners to part with Sh920,000 each for the construction of roads in their neighborhoods. Comedian Kazungu Matano, popularly known as Captain Otoyo got fired from Radio Maisha months after joining the Standard owned radio station. The radio personality resigned from Milele FM in April so he could join Radio Maisha to fill the gap that was left by Jalang’o last year in the morning show with Alex Mwakideu. The Uganda government shared plans to restart the Uganda Airlines but that now seems to be a task because the name was patented by a business person, Sam Kuteesa. The Uganda Registration Bureau was unable  to explain how the government was not able to secure the name and a different person who is not in the government was able to register the name. Two Appellate judges have withdrawn from Martha Karua’s petition challenging election of Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru. Justices Fatuma Sichale and Sankale Ole Kantai recused themselves because they are close with the Karua who is seeking to overturn the High Court’s decision to uphold Ms Waiguru’s election. The Nairobi County Government will convert illegal dumpsites in city estates to children’s playgrounds, Governor Mike Sonko has declared. The county boss has instructed the environment department officers to utilize all illegal dump-sites in a better way. “Today I’m happy to announce that a section of Kangemi area cemetery, which was turned into illegal dumping site is now under rehabilitation.
