A number of roads are set to be closed in Nairobi on Saturday due to the annual Mater Heart Run. The event will happen around the CBD and in 8 other towns concurrently: Mombasa, Machakos, Mumias, Kisumu, Nyeri, Meru, Eldoret and Nakuru. Roads will be closed in Nairobi from 7 am to 11 am. The Nairobi Hospital management has been accused of negligence for employing Former Head of Support Services, George Oogo Otieno who emerging details indicate he is a ‘quack’ who forged documents and gave false information to gain employment. Primerose Mbuvi, Nairobi County Governor, Mike Sonko’s wife is a worried woman after her husband fled their Nairobi home after Interior Ministry scaled down his security detail from 26 to 5 officers. The Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI) board has appointed George Kiondo as the acting chief executive, replacing Angela Ndambuki. Ms Ndambuki, former Tatuu singer, has held the position since September 2017, but the board decided not to confirm her.
