County governments will not pay salaries for doctors on study leave, governors said after a two-day meeting at the Sarova Whitesands Hotel in Mombasa. A man who killed his brother’s children and dumped them in a river at Moi’s Bridge five years ago has been sentenced to death. High court judge Stephen Githinji on Friday sentenced Enock Onzanse to death for killing the three children. Civil servants who decline to declare their wealth before the December 31 deadline risk a Sh1 million fine or a two year jail term. The national, county government and parastatal workers are expected to declare their wealth including that of their spouses and children.
