Dorothy Ong’era was buried in Texas,US by her lover, Obadiah Kinara, a year ago after she died under mysterious circumstances. A College student whose funds were frozen by the Asset Recovery Agency (ARA) wants the money back. Felista Nyamathira Njoroge had Sh102,654,024 in her account when the agency sought orders to freeze the account until investigations are carried out to establish the source of the money. The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) has opposed the nomination of Paul Mutunga as Nairobi deputy governor. In a letter dated November 29 and signed by Eacc CEO Twalib Mbarak, the commission claims the county assembly did not consult it regarding the candidate’s integrity suitability pursuant to Chapter six of the Constitution. A gang is on the run after robbing and shooting a man in Nairobi’s Embakasi area on Wednesday. According to Embakasi Sub-County Police Commander John Nyamu, the victim who was shot in the groin had just withdrawn Sh1.1 million from a bank in Donholm. An Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) officers have been arrested for attempting to bribe a DCI officer in Nyeri. John Kinyua is according to a police report filed at Kiamachimbi Police Station (OB No 15/01/12/2021) said to have offered the deputy sub-county criminal investigation officer Obed Mulunga a Sh200,000 bribe. A man who shot a woman after “mistaking” her for fugitive policewoman Caroline Kangogo, is dead. Kennedy Muyundo is accused of shooting Phanice Chemutai Juma back in July. According to his mother, Mrs Florence Muyundo, her son was found lying on his bedroom floor on Tuesday after a night of merrymaking. President Uhuru Kenyatta has officially conferred a city charter on Nakuru. It becomes the fourth city in Kenya after Nairobi, Mombasa and Kisumu. DCI detectives are probing an incident in which Endebess MP Robert Pukose’s vehicle burst into flames.
