Education CS Fred Matiang’i on Monday officially released the KCSE and KCPE examination dates. KCSE exams will start on 23 October with oral tests and the written exams on 6 to 29 November. KCPE will kick off on 1 to 2 November. Sigoti Girls’ School in Nyakach, Kisumu county on Saturday morning caught fire. A dormitory is said to have burned down completely. The school together with the students lost their property. The fire  reportedly started at around 9 pm and the cause still unknown. No one was injured during the incident. A dormitory caught fire at the Moi Girls’, Nairobi on Saturday morning claiming seven lives. 16 other students are nursing their injuries. 10 girls have been hospitalised.
